As creators of a bath, body and beauty line, we know the importance of a little self care, especially during the busiest times of the year! The energy that we put into our daily lives is simply not sustainable unless we are taking care of ourselves, even in the small ways. We have some tried and true tips on taking care of yourself, even when life just seems too busy.
This one should seem like a given but far too many of us are just not hydrating enough. Drinking eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day may seem like a lot but it's important for your body, mind, skin and energy level to ensure you're keeping up with it. Lay this foundation and you're on your way to feeling well more of the time!
Read, Meditate and Clear Your Head
Quiet time is one our favorite ways to center ourselves. Having families, a busy business, responsibilities and more, well, it can leave us a little bit exasperated at times. Finding the time to read or meditate or just sit in silence, can really calm the nerves and bring us back to a place of gratitude.
Invest in Quality Skincare Products and Create a Ritual
This is obviously one of our favorite ways to take care of ourselves. Finding the products that make you feel good and creating an intentional ritual around them, no matter how simple, can be a lifesaver! Make the Time to Spend with Friends and Family
We live in a culture where being busy is the norm and to be honest, we're not huge fans of over scheduling. A happy work-life balance is a must for us. Our families and friends are what make all the hard work worth it so making time for them is a no brainer. We encourage others to try to keep their lives as balanced as possible because whether you think so or not, it's a form of self care.
Indulge in the little things (i.e. Eat the Ice Cream)
We're all friends here so we'll be honest. We like to indulge in the little things. If there's the opportunity to have a little ice cream, we won't say no. Enjoying the darling things that life has to offer, well, it's one of the best ways to practice an attitude of gratitude.
